My cousin is still in the hospital with a postpartum infection....
But I figured I would add another installment about my journey toward a home VBAC.
At our next midwife appointment (horns and drum roll, please...) my blood pressure was FINE. Back to normal. I was relieved. My family was relieved. My midwife didn't say 'I told you so.' But she had told me so. I tried to listen. I gagged myself on protein, soaked in the tub, quit working and tried to be nice to my poor husband.
Now, with my blood pressure in the 117/70 range, there were no worries. I was just really eager and centered. When I went home and started cleaning my refrigerator, I knew I was ready for labor.

I have been on vacation and could not wait to get to a computer to see what was happening! I'm glad your BP is down, but I will be on edge until I know the end of the story:)
I hope your cousin is doing better real soon...what a sad way to spend a babymoon. :(
I'm on pins and needles to find out how your story ends!
Oh my gosh Tina...I just stumbled accross this blog...who knew? I am a stranger to the blogging world, and I'm walking in on a story just coming up to its fun and wonderful...not end as a couple of people have said...but beginning. Okay, I am hooked and sending all of my love and wishes from the whole Hamilton(and Cooper)family for a wonderful birth! Now I need to go back and read New Baby Installment #1 and catch up...good luck! Think happy thoughts!
So, this is in response to Tina's latest installment #23. Here's what we know. Her blood pressure is back to normal (well, almost), the spa tub has been assembled, she and her husband are deeply committed to having her VBAC at home and my husband and I are standing by, along with all of our family and friends just waiting for the phone to ring. We're very worried. So we just sit and wait.
Hi Lorraine - thanks for joining us. How's the new Cooper baby?
